King Coil Spirits in Vandalia Tower is ending its Roman pizza program and partnering with OG Zaza, a popular New Haven-style pizza brand. The collaboration will bring Chef Josh Hedquist’s fermented-dough, thin-crust pizzas to the location.
Hedquist, whose pizzas are already served at Potluck Food Hall in Roseville and a second location near Canterbury Park in Shakopee, will expand his reach with this third venue. The new partnership will also include special events, such as pizza-making classes, pairing dinners, and catering packages.
“We are extremely excited to team up with OG Zaza,” said Matt Lange, founder and lead distiller of King Coil. “Having Josh take over the food program will ensure that our customers get top-quality food while we focus on making high-quality, hand-crafted cocktails from our award-winning spirits.”
The kitchen changeover is set to take place in mid-December.
