A fan became the star of Sunday’s Bengals vs. Browns game after making an impressive kick that earned free pizza for everyone at Paycor Stadium for a year.
The fan, wearing an Evan McPherson jersey, took on the challenge of kicking a field goal as part of the “Slice the Uprights” campaign. With free pizza on the line, he had the option to kick from the 10-yard line but chose a tougher challenge from the 30-yard line instead.
And he nailed it.
While many might have played it safe with the shorter kick, this fan’s bold decision paid off, delivering a perfect shot right down the middle from 40 yards out.
The fan’s moment of glory even outshone Bengals star Joe Burrow, who threw three touchdowns in a 24-6 victory over the Browns. It was a memorable moment that left fans cheering long after the game ended.
