A popular U.K.-based pizza chain, Mr. Singh’s Pizza, is expanding its presence in Canada with a new location in Toronto.
The chain, which already has twelve locations across Canada, including two in Toronto, is quickly growing. Mr. Singh’s Pizza first entered the Canadian market with a Brampton location in the summer of 2023. Since then, its North American operations have already surpassed the size of its U.K. fleet, where it has just five locations.
Mr. Singh’s Pizza stands out for its vegetarian pizzas, made with Indian flavors. The menu features more than 50 vegetable toppings and plant-based cheeses, catering to all customers, including vegans.
The chain’s popularity in Ontario may also be linked to an endorsement from Premier Doug Ford. At the grand opening of their eighth Ontario location in Scarborough, Ford called Mr. Singh’s Pizza “the best pizza anywhere in Canada,” encouraging others to try it in a video posted by the business.
Now, Mr. Singh’s Pizza is preparing to open a new location in Etobicoke. It will take over the former site of Calabrese Pizza at 3019 Lake Shore West, which closed in late 2024. While no official opening date has been announced, signage in the window indicates it is “opening soon.”
