Texas Roadhouse in Yuma is reaching out to the community for help in honoring local heroes. The restaurant has opened a new dining area and plans to decorate it with military and veteran memorabilia.
They are asking for donations of pictures, badges, or any items that pay tribute to service members.

According to Edith Mederos, the restaurant’s Store Marketer, the new space will be dedicated to honoring military personnel. “Once the addition was ready, it was going to be our military room. We just knew from the start. They’re our heroes, our local heroes, and heroes in general, and we would like to honor them,” Mederos said.
