Caprinos Pizza has officially launched its new outlet in Wymondham, located at 40 Market Street. The branch, which opened its doors on Wednesday, offers an extensive menu including pizzas, salads, wraps, fries, desserts, and more.
General Manager Muhammad Usman highlighted the variety the restaurant brings to the town. “Our menu is what makes us unique,” he said. “We not only serve high-quality pizzas but also provide a wide range of sides, milkshakes, and halal options. Our vegan range has also been extremely popular in other parts of the country.”
Caprinos has a strong presence across the UK, with nearly 100 branches nationwide. Its first Norfolk location opened in Dereham High Street in November last year.
The brand is no stranger to accolades, having won the Papa’s Best Small Pizza Chain award in 2018, 2020, and 2022. It was also a finalist in the Best Restaurant Chain category at the British Takeaway Awards.
Plans to open the Wymondham branch were submitted in April 2024 and received approval three months later. The proposal faced some objections from local residents, who expressed concerns that the market town already had a sufficient number of takeaway outlets.
Additional worries were raised about noise, odours, and the potential impact on nearby businesses. However, Caprinos addressed these issues by presenting plans for an advanced extraction system to minimize odours.
The new branch operates from 11 am to 11 pm Sunday through Thursday and extends its hours to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
