The Stable, a popular pizza chain, has opened a new location in Padstow, Cornwall, marking its continued growth across the South West. The 120-seat restaurant, which opened its doors over the weekend, introduces a revamped menu featuring larger, thinner pizzas, smashed burgers, and classic fish and chips.
This new Padstow branch is also the first to offer a dedicated breakfast menu, exclusively available at this location.
Emma Blackmore, director of The Stable, expressed excitement about the opening, saying, “We’re incredibly excited to be opening in beautiful Padstow, a place that is loved by so many. We pride ourselves on providing excellent value for money and delicious food, and we can’t wait to introduce both locals and visitors to our fresh sourdough pizzas, ciders, and the new breakfast menu.”
Founded in 2009 by Richard and Nikki Cooper in Bridport, Dorset, The Stable has built a reputation for its artisanal pizzas and a wide range of craft ciders sourced from local producers.
In 2020, the business was sold by Pub group Fullers to Three Joes, a sourdough pizza and craft beer restaurant group. The acquisition was privately funded by the company’s shareholders.
Three Joes, established in 2017 by Tim Hall, the founder of healthy fast-food chain Pod, Peter Bruton, former co-founder of Byron Hamburgers, and Emma Blackmore, a menu development and procurement specialist from Pizza Express and Pret, currently operates locations in Winchester and Sheffield.
