In a National Pizza Day poll aimed at finding the best pizza shops in Bucks County, nearly 200 local pizzerias were nominated. After narrowing down the list to the top 12, two standout favorites emerged: A & G Pizzeria Locale in Feasterville and Mama Russo’s Pizzeria in Trevose. These two pizzerias garnered the most votes, celebrated for their exceptional food, excellent service, and outstanding value.
A & G Pizzeria Locale, opened in 2023 by Gia and Edward Houmas, has quickly become a local favorite, thanks in large part to the strong support from their community. In just under a year, the pizzeria has built a loyal customer base, with Gia emphasizing the importance of customer feedback in their success. “Without our customers, we wouldn’t be here,” she said. A & G also stands out for its family-friendly atmosphere, a key factor in its growing popularity.
Meanwhile, Mama Russo’s Pizzeria, run by brothers Vito and Phil Russo, has its roots in family tradition. Established in 2020 at the location of their parents’ former pizza shop, Chicco’s, the pizzeria continues a legacy of quality. “My mom taught my dad, my brother, and me how to make pizzas,” said Phil Russo. “What we make today is based on her recipes,” he added, underscoring the pizzeria’s commitment to its rich family heritage.
These two pizzerias have successfully captured the hearts (and taste buds) of Bucks County, earning well-deserved recognition in the competitive local pizza scene.
