A content creator is facing backlash after filming sadhus inside a Domino’s outlet in Prayagraj, with many condemning her actions as disrespectful. In the video, the woman casually interacts with the sadhus as they discuss their pizza choices, asking them what they plan to order. When one sadhu mentions having a pizza worth Rs 150, she jokingly suggests they opt for a Rs 250 pizza next. However, when one of the sadhus politely asks if she would purchase the pizza for them, she declines.
Although the content creator appeared to be lighthearted in her approach, many social media users criticized her for intruding on the sadhus’ personal space and turning their experience into a social media spectacle for views. The woman can be heard in the video saying, “All the sages, saints, and babas are deciding which pizza to eat. So, Baba ji, what’s the decision? Which one are you eating?” One of the sadhus responds, “I don’t know which one to eat. We just had one that cost Rs 150.” The woman then suggests they try the Rs 250 pizza.
When one of the sadhus politely asks her to buy it for them, she laughs and replies, “If I had money, why would I have asked you?” The video was shared on Instagram with the caption, “We are eating free community food and Babas are enjoying pizza. Babas must have earned a lot of money.”
The video quickly sparked reactions online, with many commenting that the content creator should have left the sadhus to enjoy their meal in peace. One user wrote, “Let them eat in peace, leave them.” Another added, “If you didn’t want to feed them, then what was the need to talk unnecessarily? You would have earned some good karma by feeding them.”
Others questioned why the content creator made a reel about the situation, with one comment reading, “What’s the problem in this now? Just because he’s a baba, do they have to watch what they’re eating?” Another user shared, “There is nothing wrong in a baba eating pizza, what are you doing making a reel? Why don’t you pay their bill and do charity?”
The incident has raised concerns about the ethics of creating content at the expense of others’ privacy and dignity.
