In celebration of Chinese New Year 2025, Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd has teamed up with Havas Malaysia to launch an innovative new product – the Golden Treasure Pizza. This special offering features a gold coin-shaped crust and festive toppings, marking the brand’s latest effort to create a memorable seasonal experience for its customers in Malaysia.
The Golden Treasure Pizza is available in three variants, each representing an auspicious blessing associated with the Chinese New Year. Toppings include salmon for abundance, prawn for happiness, chicken for opportunities, and pineapple for prosperity, all served on a unique crust made of golden, melted cheese.
To further elevate the festive excitement, Domino’s has introduced a buy-and-win promotion in collaboration with Havas Malaysia. Customers are encouraged to interpret the toppings as four lucky numbers, take a photo of their Golden Treasure Pizza, write their selected numbers on the image, and share it on social media while tagging Domino’s Pizza for a chance to win a year’s supply of free pizzas.
Linda Hassan, Chief Marketing Officer for Domino’s Pizza in Malaysia, Singapore, and Cambodia, emphasized the brand’s focus on engaging its customers through both food and experiences. “With the Golden Treasure Pizza, we’re not only introducing a festive delight but also adding an element of fun and fortune with our lucky draw. We’re excited to see Malaysians take part in the celebration and enjoy this special moment with us,” she said.
Donevan Chew, Chief Creative Officer of Havas Malaysia, explained the inspiration behind the campaign, saying, “Chinese New Year is about luck, prosperity, and celebration. We wanted to make the lucky draw more interactive and culturally relevant, giving fans a fun way to engage with the brand while embracing the festive spirit.”
The Golden Treasure Pizza and its accompanying promotion reflect Domino’s commitment to delivering unique, festive experiences while strengthening its connection with local customers during this important holiday season.
