Driver Loses Control, SUV Crashes into Pizza Shop in Hockessin, Delaware

A routine afternoon turned chaotic when a driver lost control of her SUV, careening into the front of a popular pizza shop in Hockessin, Delaware.

The incident unfolded just before 4:30 p.m. at Sunnys located on the 7200 block of Lancaster Pike in Hockessin.

According to authorities, the driver inadvertently crashed her SUV into the front glass plate of the restaurant, causing significant damage to the brick exterior of the building.

Thankfully, there were no reported injuries as a result of the accident. However, both the driver and her canine companion were visibly shaken by the ordeal.
