Pizzeria Paradiso, located at 3282 M St NW, is marking National Read a Book Day on September 6 with a month-long celebration of food and reading. The restaurant is offering a special pizza in honor of Dr. Seuss. The “Read a Book Green Eggs and Ham Pizza” features a base of green basil pesto and spinach, topped with mozzarella, baked eggs, parsley, and thinly sliced prosciutto.
Additionally, Pizzeria Paradiso is introducing a “library” where diners can donate a book to receive a free beer. Guests are also invited to choose a book from the restaurant’s collection.
Starting September 9, the pizzeria will offer a deal on Mondays: purchase one large pizza and get a second pizza at the price of a small.
