Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures, a Philippine fast-food franchise operator, is preparing to enter the US market. The company aims to introduce its products and brands to American consumers.
Originally an American brand, SPAVI also operates several other food franchises, including Potato Corner, Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken and Sauce Bar, the Singaporean milk tea brand R&B Milk Tea, and Project Pie.
In a recent stock exchange disclosure, SPAVI announced that its board of directors has approved the creation of a US-based subsidiary. This new subsidiary will be responsible for owning and operating stores and franchises, as well as marketing the group’s products and brands.
“The incorporated entity will serve as the group’s platform for expansion in the US market, increasing system-wide sales, revenues, and profits through both company-owned and franchised stores,” the company stated.
Further details regarding the new subsidiary have not yet been disclosed.
