Pizza Hut is celebrating the 40th anniversary of its Book It! program by giving away one million free personal pan pizzas. This promotion runs throughout October or until the pizzas run out. It aims to honor the reading initiative and National Book Month.
To claim a free six-inch pizza, customers must make a purchase of $8 and enter the promo code “BOOKIT40” when ordering online. This offer is available to pizza lovers of all ages, whether they are in school or not.
Since its launch in 1984, the Book It! program has distributed over 1.5 billion pizzas to readers. In the last 11 years alone, Pizza Hut has given away 56 million personal pan pizzas, according to a press release.
In addition to providing pizzas, the Book It! program enhances reading opportunities for students. It offers discounted or free books to educators in Title 1 schools across the country.
