Ireland’s First 24-Hour Pizza Vending Machine Launches in Dublin

Bosca Pizza

Dublin has welcomed Ireland’s first artisan pizza vending machine, Bosca Pizza. The vending machines are located at a Texaco station in Newcastle on the southside and on Abbey Street in the city center. These kiosks operate 24 hours a day, catering to customers at service stations, shopping centers, college campuses, office buildings, hospitals, and small towns without fast food options.

The idea for Bosca Pizza began when brothers Franck and Marc traveled to France and discovered a unique, 24/7 artisan pizza vending machine. Franck, who was living in Ireland, saw potential for this concept in his home country.

With experience in the restaurant and food industries, the brothers worked to bring this innovative idea to Ireland, opening their first location in Naas in 2022.

Bosca Pizza quickly gained popularity and is now expanding. The pizzas are handcrafted in a high-quality kitchen using premium ingredients before being sent to the machines. A cold chain process keeps the pizzas fresh until they are ordered.

The vending machine maintains the pizzas at 3°C. When a customer places an order, the pizza is moved from the refrigerator to the oven, where it cooks at a high temperature with specific settings for each type of pizza.
