Domino’s has revealed the top five most unusual pizza orders received by its pizza makers in Australia and New Zealand. The brand conducted a survey asking staff to share their most bizarre experiences.
Leading the list is the “Popeye,” a pizza with no cheese, topped with double spinach, double anchovies, and double chili flakes. Following closely is the “Ghost,” a cheese pizza with no toppings except for chili flakes. The “Pineapple Phantom” is a unique take on the classic Hawaiian, featuring triple the pineapple and no ham. The “Cheese Cauldron” is a pizza loaded with cheese and topped with every post-bake sauce available, along with spring onions. Lastly, the “Devil’s Delight” is packed with extra red-hot sauce, onions, tomatoes, chicken, beef, pepperoni, cheese, jalapeños, bacon, and chili flakes.
In celebration of the upcoming Halloween season, Domino’s is introducing a limited-edition Halloween menu available in restaurants from Monday, October 28, to Friday, November 1.
The new menu includes “5pk Spicy Blood Sauce Wings,” featuring succulent chicken wings coated in a spicy sauce. Customers can also add the limited-time Spicy Blood Sauce to any pizza as a free post-bake option.
“Halloween is all about embracing the unexpected, and our customers have certainly delivered. We’ve seen some seriously spooky pizza orders that have left us scratching our heads,” said Allan Collins, Domino’s ANZ Chief Marketing Officer. “While we won’t be adding these chilling concoctions to our menu, our new limited-time offerings are designed to satisfy even the most adventurous pizza lovers.”
