Little Caesars is testing a new pizza crust that has fans excited. The chain is exploring the addition of bacon to its crust, a concept that many customers are eager to try.
Food blogger Snackolator reports that the new pizza features a “caramelized cheese and bacon crust.” Customers can also customize their pizza with various toppings. While this crust has been available in other countries, this marks its debut in the United States, starting with a test in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Responses from fans on social media have been enthusiastic. One commenter expressed disappointment that the crust isn’t being released nationwide, stating, “This definitely should’ve been a nationwide release.” Another fan mentioned, “They tried this in Mexico and I can confirm it is.” Some Canadians voiced their frustration, noting that the bacon crust pizza is currently limited to the U.S.
While many fans are excited about the bacon crust, others are suggesting additional options. One user hopes for a permanent pretzel crust, while another called for the return of the bacon-wrapped deep dish. This previous offering sparked nostalgia, with one fan commenting, “The deep dish bacon-wrapped crust pizza was legendary!”
Currently, Little Caesars offers a large pizza with a caramelized cheese and bacon crust, topped with pepperoni, for $8.99 on its website.
