Panjo’s Pizza has proudly served the Corpus Christi community since September 1964. This Sunday, the restaurant marked its 60th anniversary with a lively car show and offered pizza by the slice.
Located at the corner of McArdle and Airline in a shopping center, Panjo’s Pizza is a family-run establishment known for its thin-crust and deep-dish pizzas. The restaurant also hosts live music nights, making it a popular gathering place for locals. Management hopes to continue serving the community for many more years.
General Manager Katlyn Garrett expressed her commitment to maintaining the restaurant’s traditions. “We’re just going to keep doing the same thing,” she said. “We’ll keep the pizzas going and stick with our original recipe. As long as people are interested, we’ll keep the car show going. We’re just going to keep rocking this as much as we can, for as long as we can.”
Earlier this year, Panjo’s Pizza was featured on the show Kitchen Cops, where it received a perfect score for its quality and cleanliness.
