Papa John’s in Evesham has applied for an extension to its opening hours in response to increased demand.
The takeaway pizza shop, currently open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, is requesting to stay open until 4 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
In planning documents submitted to Wychavon District Council, Atif Maroof Zar, the applicant, explained the need for the change. He stated, “Our pizza store is very popular and has a loyal customer base. The demand for late-night takeaway options has grown, and many customers have asked us to extend our hours on weekends.”
Zar emphasized that the store would remain a takeaway service during these extended hours, with no on-site dining or activities that could disturb the local area or neighbors. He added, “This change will help us better serve the community and meet customer expectations while maintaining our commitment to high-quality food and service.”
The proposal aims to ensure the business continues to thrive while offering a valuable service to customers.
