Pizza Hut is celebrating National Book Month by giving away 1 million free personal pan pizzas. As part of the company’s Book It! program, anyone—children and adults alike—can get a free pizza with a minimum purchase of $8. To claim the offer, simply order online or via the Pizza Hut app and use the code BOOKIT40.
This promotion marks 40 years of Pizza Hut supporting National Book Month. Historically, the Book It! program rewarded children for reaching reading goals with a certificate for a free pizza. This new giveaway is an additional offer.
Since its launch in 1984, Pizza Hut has given away more than 1.5 billion pizzas through the program, including over 56 million pizzas between 2013 and 2023.
For those looking for more, Pizza Hut is also offering a bundle: two large one-topping pizzas with breadsticks, with part of the proceeds supporting the Book It! program.
Carl Loredo, President of Pizza Hut U.S., said, “It’s inspired more than 70 million children to discover the magic of books, helping to build a lifelong love of reading.”
The free pizza offer is available now and will last until the chain has given away 1 million pizzas or until the end of the month.
