Rosalia, the wood-fired pizza restaurant from Daniel del Prado, is expanding with a second location in Minneapolis.
The new site will open in Northeast Minneapolis in the spring of 2025 at 333 E. Hennepin Ave., inside the Rafter Apartments building. The announcement was made by Element Commercial Real Estate, who represented the landlord. The DDP Restaurant Group, which owns Rosalia, did not respond to requests for comment.
The new Rosalia will occupy the final ground-level retail space in the building, placing it near popular local spots like StepChld, Surdyk’s Side Bar, and Kramarczuk’s.
Rosalia first opened in 2020 as del Prado’s third restaurant, following Martina and Colita. Since then, the DDP Restaurant Group has continued to grow. This week, they will also debut Minari, a Korean-focused restaurant in Northeast Minneapolis, led by long-time culinary director Jeff Watson. The menu will feature noodle dishes, barbecue, dim sum, and cocktails.
