DiGiorno’s Limited Edition Thanksgiving Pizza is back, and it’s stirring up excitement online.
The holiday-themed frozen pizza is topped with roasted turkey, green beans, crispy onions, dried cranberries, and 100% real cheese. A gravy drizzle sits atop a Detroit-style crust, according to the company.
This special pizza is available exclusively at Kroger until the end of November.
Customer Reactions to the Thanksgiving Pizza
Shoppers on the Kroger website have shared their thoughts on the unique Thanksgiving Pizza.
One customer, Lori, described it as “scrumptious!” She explained that the pizza isn’t a traditional one, but rather a “combination of delicious Thanksgiving favorites on a crispy light crust.” Instead of pizza sauce, it features a rich turkey gravy.
Sarah Lawrence, 27, from Victorville, expressed interest in trying the pizza but with a caveat. She said, “I’d buy one and bake it, but only if I had a group of people who are adventurous like me to try it. I’d hate to take a bite, hate it, and throw the entire pizza out.”
Hector Morales, 38, also from Victorville, isn’t hesitant to give it a go. “I’ve had Tapatio (hot sauce) on pizza, mango slices, pineapple, and peanut butter, and it was all good,” Morales said. “I’m sure I’d like this Thanksgiving Pizza too.”
A New Tradition for the Holidays
DiGiorno first introduced the Thanksgiving Pizza in 2023. Kimberly Holowiak, the company’s senior brand manager, said, “From Friendsgiving parties to Turkey Day tables, we’re thrilled to provide a bold new way to appreciate the traditional Thanksgiving spread.”
Last year, she added, “Our passion is pizza, and we are always looking for unique ways to infuse the fresh-baked taste of DiGiorno into moments of celebration – even the most traditional holiday dinners.”
