The holiday season has arrived, bringing a variety of festive events to local hangouts, including Analog Pizza and Arcade, as well as Bummer City spots.
At Analog Pizza and Arcade in Moline, “Super Awesome Christmas Time IV” is now in full swing, offering several fun events. These include a Christmas Paint Party, a Christmas Puff Pot Paint Party, a Caroling Knight performance by the Assumption High School Choir, an Ugly Sweater Skee-Ball Tournament, and a Christmas Trivia Night.
Over at the Davenport Analog location, visitors can join in on Santacon, Christmas Trivia, and enjoy Karaoke every Thursday night.
In Davenport, Armored Gardens at 315 Pershing Avenue is also getting into the holiday spirit. Known for its 100 beers on tap, large outdoor patio, and locally-sourced food, Armored Gardens is offering a special Breakfast Bowl this month. The dish includes tater tots, chorizo gravy, mushrooms, peppers, onions, shredded cheddar, and a fried egg.
Next door, Devon’s Complaint Department is paying tribute to a beloved community member, Sean McQueen, who passed away recently. McQueen was a prominent figure at Mississippi River Distilling and known for his contributions to the community. In his honor, the December special, “A Toast To Sean,” features Cody Road Rye, coffee liqueur, vanilla syrup, angostura bitters, orange peel, and a cherry. A portion of the proceeds from each drink sold will be donated to colon cancer research.
