Sammataro, the popular food truck known for its “old-New York style pizza,” is opening its first brick-and-mortar location this December. Sammataro Sports will be located on West 37th Street and Guadalupe Street, near the University of Texas campus.
Owner Isaac Flores said the new spot will offer a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. The sports bar will also serve as a nostalgic pizza parlor, bringing a familiar vibe to the neighborhood.

The menu will feature Sammataro’s signature pizza, along with other items such as hamburgers, wings, mozzarella sticks, and meatballs. The location will also have a full cocktail bar and beer on tap.

The grand opening is set for December 7 at 519 W. 37th St., Austin.
