A national pizza chain, known for “doing things differently,” is preparing to open a new location in Woodthorpe, on the outskirts of Nottingham. Fat Pizza has placed signs along Mansfield Road, announcing its upcoming arrival.
The new unit, previously home to Caribbean takeaway Jerk Kitchen, is located near other popular eateries, including Sea and Earth chip shop, Woodthorpe Tandoori Indian restaurant, and Wandering Dragon Chinese takeaway. Fat Pizza, which already operates 30 locations across the UK, including in Leicester, Burnley, Edinburgh, and London, is expanding its presence in the area.
The chain prides itself on making dough in the traditional way and promises a different approach compared to other pizza chains. According to its website, Fat Pizza rejects promotional deals, claiming that other chains use offers to “trick” customers into thinking they are getting value. Instead, the company offers what it calls “Great Prices for Great Fresh Pizza.”
Customers can choose from a regular 12-inch pizza for £8 or a 15-inch pizza for £10.
