The Evesham Township Police Department has thanked Sal’s Pizzaworks for its generous contribution of 50 pizzas to this year’s Shop with a Cop event, which supports local children in need during the holiday season.
The event pairs police officers with children, allowing them to shop for gifts while fostering positive relationships between law enforcement and the community.
“This program is about more than just shopping; it’s about creating meaningful connections,” the department said in a statement on Friday. They added that Sal’s donation helped make the event even more special.
Shop with a Cop events are held across the country to spread holiday cheer to underserved families and strengthen the bond between police officers and local residents.
