Mika’s Neapolitan Pizza has officially taken over the space once occupied by Fire Works Pizza in Sterling’s Cascades Overlook center.
As reported by The Burn last month, the family behind Fire Works decided to sell the Sterling location and downsize following the passing of their patriarch, Kevin Malone, earlier this year. The family will continue operating their other Fire Works locations in Leesburg and Arlington, as well as their restaurants, Tuskies in Leesburg and Magnolias at the Mill in Purcellville.
At Mika’s, the focus remains on pizza, but the new owners have expanded the menu with a variety of dishes. In addition to pizza, the menu includes pasta options like Chicken Alla Vodka, Fettuccine Jambalaya, and Beef Stroganoff.
The pizza selection features unique options such as Green Pizza, topped with pesto sauce, fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and olive oil; Capricciosa, with cream rose sauce, mozzarella, mushrooms, artichoke, olives, ham, basil, and olive oil; and the Sausage and Fries pizza, which includes house tomato sauce, cheese blend, sausage, and hand-cut fries.
The menu also offers starters, salads, calzones, and more.
