Little Caesar’s is testing a new bacon-crust pizza, and fans are excited about the possibility of adding bacon to the pizza’s crust. The new option features a caramelized cheese and bacon crust and can be customized with additional toppings. While the bacon crust has been available in other countries, this is the first time it is being tested in the United States, starting in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Food blogger Snackolator reported the news, and many fans are already sharing their thoughts. One commenter said, “This definitely should’ve been a nationwide release,” while another fan praised the concept, saying, “They tried this in Mexico and I can confirm it is.” Some fans expressed disappointment that the pizza is only available in a limited U.S. market, with one writing, “Canada gets nothing.”
Others shared their love for bacon, with one fan saying, “I love anything that has bacon on it,” and another writing, “They always like to try new stuff and bring them back.” However, not all feedback was focused on the bacon crust. Some fans expressed interest in other crust options, such as one who hoped the pretzel crust would become permanent. Others remembered a previous offering: “Gotta bring back the bacon-wrapped deep dish,” said one fan, recalling the difference between that option and the new bacon crust pizza.
The new pizza is priced at $8.99 for a large, topped with pepperoni, on a caramelized cheese and bacon crust, according to the Little Caesar’s website.
