A new pizza concept and social lounge, Society Pizza Lounge, is preparing to open in Old Town Newhall, taking over the space formerly occupied by Victory Pizza Bar at 24450 Main Street, Site #150.
While an official opening date has not been confirmed, the lounge recently launched its social media presence, suggesting the opening may still be some time away. Society Pizza Lounge is the latest venture from Michael Mustac, Vice President of Operations and Co-Founder of Infinite Computing Technologies, who is now embarking on a new business journey.
Details about the lounge are limited, but the location is expected to be a key factor in its success. Situated on the ground floor of the Newhall Crossing apartment complex, Society Pizza Lounge will be surrounded by a variety of other restaurants and eateries, with plenty of foot traffic in the area. The lounge will be close to popular spots like WE Lounge and Maginns Pub, offering a great place for a quick bite or a change of scenery. The Old Town Newhall Library and the Old Town Newhall Farmer’s Market are also nearby.
The location also benefits from a lack of competition in Old Town Newhall. Though Society Pizza Lounge is described as more of a social lounge than a traditional pizza shop, it will still offer a variety of pizza options. This sets it apart from the chain pizza restaurants in the area, including Domino’s, Little Caesars, Papa John’s, and Di Marco’s. Once open, it will be one of the few independently owned pizza-focused establishments in the area, joining other independent options further from the city center, such as Vincenzo’s Pizza Newhall, Ameci Pizza & Pasta, and Spumoni Italian Cafe & Pizzeria.
