A North Myrtle Beach restaurant has closed its doors for good. Pittsburgh Pizza Pub, located at 730 Highway 17 South, shut down in late December, owner Adam Lucas confirmed.
Lucas cited staffing issues and challenges during the offseason as the main reasons for the closure. He also announced that a Greek-themed restaurant will take over the space.
“We were there for a while, but the seven days a week, day and night, gets old real quick,” Lucas said. “Your customers appreciate you. You appreciate your customers, and it’s all worth it in the end.”
Pittsburgh Pizza Pub, which opened in 2021, offered pizza and comfort food with a Pittsburgh sports theme. As of January 1, 2025, the building was undergoing repainting, with signs on the front doors indicating that it was closed.
