Steve Dolinsky, the well-known Food Guy reporter at NBC 5 Chicago and James Beard Award winner, will share his expertise on Chicago pizza in an upcoming event hosted by Illinois Libraries Present (ILP).
Dolinsky, who also hosts The Feed Podcast with chef Rick Bayless, is the creator of Pizza City Fest, an event now held in four cities. He has written two books about pizza and is recognized for his work in television, radio, and podcasts.
At this event, Dolinsky will discuss his book The Ultimate Chicago Pizza Guide: A History of Squares & Slices in the Windy City. This comprehensive guide explores the styles, locations, and people that make Chicago a leading destination for pizza lovers.
The event is part of Illinois Libraries Present, a statewide initiative that brings top-tier events to public libraries. ILP is supported by a grant from the Illinois State Library, a division of the Office of the Secretary of State, with funding from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA). The organization is dedicated to promoting inclusion and accessibility.
