Grotto Pizza’s Parade of Trees event raised more than $55,000 in charitable donations last year. The funds will benefit local and regional organizations.
A significant portion of the donations came from a $25,000 contribution by the Joseph and Erma Paglianite Charitable Foundation. This amount was distributed among all qualifying participants.
The event invited local businesses to decorate Christmas trees to support various charities. These trees were displayed inside the main dining room of Grotto Pizza in Harveys Lake throughout the holiday season.
Visitors were encouraged to vote for their favorite trees with monetary donations. The trees that garnered the most votes received a share of the prize pool, along with a portion of the $25,000 donation from the Paglianite Foundation. The specific amount each tree received was based on the public votes they collected.
For the second consecutive year, the first-place winner was Allow Wheels, supporting Peggy’s Pathways. Reilly Finishing Technologies took second place with a tree benefiting The Cancer Wellness Center of NEPA. The third-place spot went to Sorber Well Drilling, which supported Patriots Cove.
