Pepper Lunch, a fast-casual Japanese restaurant chain, is set to open two new locations in the Portland area.
The company plans to open one restaurant in Portland and another in Oregon City, according to a spokesperson for Pepper Lunch. With over 500 locations in 17 countries, the chain is known for serving meals “in 20 minutes for under $20.”
Oregon’s growing culinary scene makes it an ideal location for Pepper Lunch, the company said, adding that the state’s vibrant communities will help bring its interactive dining experience to a wider audience.
In addition to the Portland and Oregon City locations, Pepper Lunch also plans to open three more sites across the state. These new locations are part of the company’s partnership with local developer Peter T. Ng of Seventh and Monroe LLC.
“This expansion into Oregon shows the strength of our concept and the potential of our partners,” said Pepper Lunch CEO Troy Hooper. “Peter’s vision aligns perfectly with our mission to create joy and connection through our sizzling dining experience.”
