Giordano’s Pizza in Bloomington has closed its doors for good, marking a loss for Chicago-style deep-dish pizza fans in central Illinois.
A notice posted on the restaurant’s door announced the closure, effective January 19.
The message reads, “It is with a heavy heart that we announce this news. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of our loyal customers for their unwavering support over the past seven years. We have always cherished providing you with delicious deep-dish pizza and creating a memorable dining experience.”
The Bloomington location had initially offered dine-in, takeout, and delivery services, but switched to takeout and delivery only in May 2024.
