A beloved pizza restaurant in Oakville, Connecticut, has closed its doors after nearly 25 years of serving the local community. Oakville Pizza, located at 263 Main St. in Watertown’s Oakville section, announced its closure last Wednesday in a heartfelt message on social media.
In the post, the restaurant’s owners expressed their gratitude for the unwavering support they received from customers over the years, describing the decision to close as “incredibly difficult.” They thanked patrons for their loyalty, friendship, and love, emphasizing that those who visited—whether regulars celebrating milestones or first-time guests—became part of the Oakville Pizza family.
“Your loyalty, friendship, and love have meant the world to us,” the owners wrote. “From regular customers celebrating special occasions to first-time visitors, you’ve been a part of our family, and we will forever cherish the relationships we’ve built.”
