Home Run Inn, the well-known Chicago-based pizzeria, has announced plans to close three of its locations by the end of the day Sunday. The decision, part of the company’s ongoing strategic adjustments, comes as it aims to streamline operations and enhance the overall customer experience.
Gina Perrino Bolger, the Chief Marketing Officer and fourth-generation member of the family behind the pizzeria, commented on the move, stating, “As we look to the future, we are making thoughtful decisions to ensure we continue delivering the best possible experience.” The company hopes this focus on a smaller number of locations will allow it to improve its offerings and continue to grow its brand.
While Home Run Inn will close three of its restaurants, the company will retain six others, including its flagship location in the Little Village neighborhood of Chicago. Additional locations in Bolingbrook, Hillside, and Darien will also remain open as part of the streamlined operations. The company views this shift as an opportunity to enhance its spaces, further develop its menus, and focus on innovation for the long term.
