The “Final Four” round of our March Madness Upstate: Pizza Edition is here, bringing us one step closer to crowning the best pizzeria in the region. In celebration of the 2025 March Madness basketball tournament, The Greenville News is hosting a bracket to determine the top pizza spot in the Upstate.
Last year, Soby’s claimed the title of the Upstate’s favorite shrimp and grits, defeating Low Country Shrimper. This year, bracket voters will help decide which pizza reigns supreme across Greenville, Spartanburg, and Anderson counties.
The competition has already seen its fair share of upsets, with over 2,700 votes cast in the second round alone. Now, the stakes are even higher as we approach the final matchups.
The bracket, which runs from March 17 to April 8, will feature a variety of pizza styles, from New York to Sicilian, thin crust to American. Each round will progress every Monday, and the overall winner will be crowned on April 14. The “Final Four” matchups are sure to be full of excitement, as we get closer to determining the best pizza in the Upstate.
Myles Pizza
Myles Pizza brings a unique twist to the table, with a style all its own. Their pies are characterized by a thick, hearty crust and toppings that are baked directly beneath the cheese. Frankie’s NY Pizza
Frankie’s NY Pizza lives up to its name with a menu full of classic New York-style pies. From the white ricotta to the Jenny-style (Hawaiian), Charlotte (veggie), and cheesesteak pizzas, Frankie’s serves crispy-crust pizzas with the perfect balance of cheese and toppings. Known for its authenticity, it’s more than just the Yankees logo on the storefront that makes this pizzeria a standout.

With a focus on quality Grande cheese, Bada Bing offers flavorful consistency and a long history of crafting some of the best pizzas in the area.
