Casey’s General Stores Inc. is offering a new way for customers to save on Tax Day with its “Pizza Refund” promotion.
On April 15, Casey’s Rewards members who purchase any large pizza will receive a pizza refund in the form of a free large, one-topping pizza, credited to their Rewards account. The refund can be redeemed anytime within 21 days after Tax Day, until May 6.
“Paying taxes isn’t fun, but cashing in on a Casey’s pizza deal? That’s deliciously delightful!” said Brad Haga, senior vice president of prepared food and dispensed beverages at Casey’s. “We’re committed to delivering the unexpected goodness our guests crave with our special ‘Tax Day Pizza Refund.’ It’s just one way we ensure our guests never have to wait to treat themselves to Casey’s delicious, handmade pizza.”
To take advantage of the deal, customers need to join Casey’s Rewards, save the Pizza Refund offer to their account, and then order any large pizza on April 15 in-store, online, or via the Casey’s mobile app.
The promotion follows the recent celebration of Casey’s 40th anniversary of its pizza program, which included 40-cent Mega Slices and 40% off any whole pizza. Since introducing pizza in 1984, Casey’s expanded its menu with breakfast pizza in 2001 and thin crust pizza in 2023.
Headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa, Casey’s is the third-largest convenience store retailer and the fifth-largest pizza chain in the U.S., operating nearly 2,900 convenience stores across the country.
