A violent altercation erupted inside a pizzeria in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, resulting in an employee being punched and a customer slashed. The incident occurred at Delizia Pizza in New Britain on Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, 18-year-old Panajotis Tafa of Doylestown, along with an unidentified juvenile, entered the establishment. An altercation ensued, during which the juvenile suspect punched a coworker in the face. Employee Alvis Mendoza recounted attempting to intervene but was met with further violence as Tafa brandished a knife.
In the chaos, a customer attempted to assist but ended up being slashed in the arm by Tafa. The suspects fled the scene before authorities arrived, leaving behind injured victims and a shocked staff.
Salvio LoPiccolo, the owner of the pizzeria, expressed concern about the incident and the behavior of today’s youth. He lamented the injuries sustained by his employee and the customer who tried to intervene.
Panajotis Tafa surrendered to authorities the following day, facing charges including aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, and reckless endangerment. However, the juvenile suspect remains at large.
