In collaboration with About — Tripping Billy, Pequod’s presents a pioneering offering: a white sauce pizza, a first in the restaurant’s illustrious history. Dubbed “Chicago pizza history” by Pequod’s, this daring culinary endeavor aims to push the boundaries of traditional pizza-making.
Featuring a delectable shishito pepper cream sauce as its base, adorned with succulent corn, zesty pickled jalapenos, rich cheddar cheese, scallions, and the signature caramelized crust, the Tripping Billy promises a symphony of flavors that defy convention.
“We’re making Chicago pizza history as this is the first pizza collaboration in Pequod’s storied history! It’s also the first non-red sauce pizza they’ve ever served,” shares Zureikat, the creative mind behind the collaboration, on Instagram.
Available exclusively at the Lincoln Park location, patrons can indulge in this culinary masterpiece through carryout and delivery options, but act fast—this limited-time offering is available only until supplies last.
Beyond delighting palates, the Tripping Billy also serves a noble cause. As part of a charitable initiative, 50% of the proceeds from each pizza will be donated to a muscular dystrophy fundraiser. Zureikat, who himself was diagnosed in March 2021, now serves as the Illinois ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, leveraging his culinary talents to support the cause.
Pequod’s, recently crowned the best pizza spot in the U.S. by Yelp elites, continues to soar in popularity since its accolade in February.
