GOPIZZA is embarking on a new phase of expansion through strategic partnerships with FairPrice Finest and Cathay Cineplexes, introducing unique dining experiences to diverse locations.
The collaboration with FairPrice Finest marks GOPIZZA’s debut within the supermarket chain, offering exclusive flavor offerings such as the Ayam Taliwang Pizza. Located at FairPrice Finest Ang Mo Kio Block 712, shoppers can indulge in this collaborative creation by GOPIZZA and Michelin Guide brand, Nasi Lemak Ayam Taliwang.
Simultaneously, GOPIZZA has joined forces with Cathay Cineplexes during the school holidays to host a special pop-up kiosk at Cathay Cineplex Jem. This innovative initiative provided movie-goers with a unique pizza dining experience within the cinema premises.
These partnerships with industry leaders enable GOPIZZA to extend its reach beyond traditional outlets to diverse locations including malls, hawker centers, schools, petrol stations, and now, theatres and supermarkets. This strategic move underscores GOPIZZA’s commitment to revolutionizing the pizza experience, making it convenient for individuals from all walks of life.
GOPIZZA’s “shop-in-shop” strategy, allowing outlets to immediately absorb existing foot traffic, has proven successful in reducing investment costs and operating expenses. As a result, close to 40% of GOPIZZA stores achieve EBITDA break-even within their first six months of operations, according to a statement by the company.
Jay Lim, Global CEO of GOPIZZA, stated, “Having recently surpassed 200 global outlets, GOPIZZA is looking to exceed 1,200 outlets by the end of this year. Under the vision of ‘the pizza everywhere company,’ GOPIZZA is committed to making high-quality pizza accessible, fast, and affordable for everyone, everywhere.”
In line with its expansion plans, GOPIZZA is set to open over 1,000 outlets in South Korea alone this year, aiming for a global total of over 1,200 outlets by the end of 2024. This rapid scaling up follows a strategic partnership with GS25, South Korea’s leading convenience store brand, initiated after a successful trial at the GS25 The Gwan-Ak branch in Seoul, which opened at the end of November last year.
