Imo’s Pizza is covering all adoption costs for adult cats and dogs from Stray Rescue of St. Louis throughout June, continuing their life-saving partnership for the eighth consecutive year.
The collaboration aims to reduce the number of strays at the shelter by finding permanent homes for animals in need. “We are excited each year for the opportunity to partner with Stray Rescue of St. Louis and help more families bring home a new family member,” said Margie Imo, Founder of Imo’s Pizza.
Typically, the adoption fee at Stray Rescue is $100. However, thanks to Imo’s Pizza, families can adopt cats and dogs over six months old at no cost. Each adopted pet is spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Additionally, Imo’s Pizza is offering a $20 gift card with each adoption.
Last year, 114 animals found homes through this initiative. “We are saving more lives than ever before, and we can’t do our nonstop life-saving work without the support of our community,” stated Cassady Caldwell, CEO of Stray Rescue.
The shelter will also host a pop-up adoption event on June 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2330 Pine St.
