Charlotte Pizza Restaurants Rally to Support Families of Fallen Officers

by Emma

Several pizza restaurants in the Charlotte area are joining forces to support the families of fallen law enforcement officers through an initiative called “Carolina Pizza Strong.”

On Wednesday and Thursday, June 19 and 20, participating restaurants will donate $5 from every pizza sold to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Foundation. This nonprofit organization will direct the funds to support first responders affected by the deadly shootout in east Charlotte on April 29.
