San Antonio, TX – Halftime Pizza, a local restaurant chain, is reaching out to the community for support as it navigates a challenging period of decreased business.
In a heartfelt message shared on Friday, Halftime Pizza expressed the difficulties it faces and appealed to locals for assistance during these trying times.
“We kindly ask that you consider dining with us during these challenging times,” the chain posted in a San Antonio Facebook group. “Like many other restaurants, we have experienced a decrease in customers and we feel it!”
The response from San Antonio residents has been overwhelmingly supportive, with food enthusiasts and loyal customers flooding the comments section with messages of encouragement and promises to visit soon. Halftime Pizza operates two locations in the area—7126 Tezel Road and 7531 Bandera Road—offering a variety of specialty pizzas, pizza rolls, wings, subs, and salads.
Adding to the community support, Axeshack, another local establishment in Cibolo known for its axe-throwing range and pizza offerings, joined in solidarity with Halftime Pizza.
“Hang in there! (It’s) a difficult time for small businesses,” Axeshack commented on Halftime’s post. “The community has been amazing in supporting us. I know they’ll come together for you too.”
Halftime Pizza suggested patrons enjoy catching a Major League Baseball game while indulging in their menu offerings and a refreshing cold beer.
“Please stop by and show us some love,” Halftime Pizza urged its patrons.
The downturn in business comes amidst ongoing challenges faced by local eateries and entertainment venues, reflecting broader economic uncertainties impacting small businesses across the region.
