Shield’s Restaurant and Pizzeria is inviting its customers to submit their most creative pizza recipes for a contest aimed at supporting Lighthouse of Oakland County. The contest not only offers a chance to win gift certificates but also provides an opportunity to have the winning pizza featured on Shield’s menu.
Paul Andoni, one of Shield’s owners, expressed excitement for the contest, stating, “The summer pizza bake off contest always draws dozens of tasty, interesting, and rather unusual recipe submissions. We look forward to reading all submissions – the crazier, the better. … In the previous years we received over 500 recipes. Some were actually pretty interesting and some were just downright weird.”
