Pizza Hut Unveils Brand Transformation with New Handcrafted Range

Pizza Hut has embarked on a significant brand transformation aimed at redefining taste preferences with a fresh lineup designed to appeal to both new and loyal pizza enthusiasts.

The cornerstone of this initiative is the introduction of the Handcrafted range, featuring a light and airy crust that will replace all classic dough options across Pizza Hut locations starting this July. This new range includes three enticing options: the zesty Chicken Fajitas, the fiery Pepperoni & Nduja, and The Spicy Goat pizzas. These variants will join Pizza Hut’s iconic offerings such as Margherita, Meat Feast, Pepperoni Feast, and the Supreme Range, all now available on handcrafted bases.

In preparation for this rollout, Pizza Hut has undertaken extensive training for its team members, with over 23,000 practice pizzas meticulously crafted and tested. Feedback from taste tests conducted by research company Welwyn has been overwhelmingly positive, with 75% of participants preferring the new handcrafted range over Pizza Hut’s current classic dough base, and 92% expressing an intention to purchase the handcrafted pizzas.

Alongside the culinary revamp, Pizza Hut is launching a dynamic new campaign platform titled ‘Together We Pizza.’ This initiative celebrates the role of pizza in bringing people together for various occasions, whether shared with friends or family, or enjoyed solo while catching a movie. It underscores Pizza Hut’s commitment to fostering connections through the joy of pizza, aligning with diverse moments in everyday life.

Earlier this year, Pizza Hut ventured into a new category with the introduction of the Cheeseburger Melt, a unique creation that replaces the traditional bun with a thin crust, optimizing it for easy handling and portability.
