Alley Cats Pizza, known for its New York-style pies, will open a second London location on King’s Road in Chelsea on Friday, August 9, 2024. Building on the success of its initial Marylebone branch, which opened in December 2023, the new Chelsea spot aims to recreate the vibrant atmosphere that has made the original site a hit in the city’s pizza scene.
The new venue will offer the same signature 14-inch thin and crunchy pizzas crafted by Head Chef Francesco Macri, featuring a menu rich in Southern Italian ingredients.
Alley Cats in Chelsea promises an authentic New York pizza experience enhanced by top-quality Southern Italian produce, such as sweet San Marzano tomatoes and creamy Buffalo Mozzarella from Campania. Chef Francesco Macri’s menu includes a range of dishes like Meatballs of Beef and Pork in slow-cooked tomato sauce, Candied Bacon, and various pizzas.
Notable options include the Vodka Sauce pizza, made with a creamy tomato sauce slow-cooked for four hours and topped with aged mozzarella and buffalo mozzarella, and the Pepperoni pizza, featuring tomato sauce, aged mozzarella, smoked pepperoni, jalapeno, and honey. Desserts like Tiramisu with Pistachio and Vanilla Soft Serve with assorted toppings are also on offer.
The interior of the new Chelsea location mirrors the eclectic style of the original Alley Cats, with central tables covered in gingham tablecloths, upcycled church pew-style seating, and episodes of The Sopranos silently projected on an exposed brick wall, creating a lively dining atmosphere. Guests can enjoy a selection of handcrafted cocktails, fine wines, and refreshing beers alongside their meals.
Located at 342 King’s Road, the Chelsea branch of Alley Cats Pizza expands the brand’s presence in London, offering the same quality and ambiance that have made the Marylebone site successful. The new establishment will be open for walk-ins only, serving lunch and dinner seven days a week.
