Pizza Hut is launching its “Free Pizza Olympics” promotion, offering free pizza for every gold medal won by Australian athletes in the upcoming Olympics.
From July 26 to August 12, Pizza Hut will give away 500 pizzas each time an Australian wins a gold medal. Wendy Leung, Australia’s Chief Marketing Officer, highlighted that over 100,000 pizzas could be distributed during this period.
“At Pizza Hut, we understand how much Australians enjoy both sports and our pizza,” Leung stated. “Our ‘Pizzas for Golds’ campaign is designed to unite people in celebrating our nation’s achievements.”
Leung added, “We’re excited to support our fans with thousands of free pizzas. Get ready to cheer and enjoy a slice of pizza every time we win gold.”
Additionally, Pizza Hut will give away 1,000 pizzas at the beginning of the event on July 26 and again at the end on August 12.
To participate, customers need to visit the Pizza Hut website or app at 4 p.m. daily during the Olympics for a chance to win free pizzas for each gold medal Australia wins. Winners can choose from large pan pizzas in flavors such as pepperoni, BBQ, meat lovers, supreme, cheese lovers, or Hawaiian.
