Pizza Hut Hong Kong Launches Social Campaign to Promote Limited-Edition Fries

Pizza Hut Hong Kong has introduced a new social campaign, “Frenchie Predictions,” to promote its limited-edition “Torch Fries” side dish. The campaign coincides with the Games, offering a playful way to engage fans and support local athletes.

The Torch Fries feature French fries and potato wedges wrapped in a garlic-infused oil-coated tortilla cone, resembling the torch carried in the Games. As part of the campaign, a charismatic French presenter and his fortune-telling companion, a French Bulldog named Baguette, predict the outcomes for Hong Kong’s athletes.

Baguette selects between different Pizza Hut pizza boxes containing the Torch Fries to forecast whether the city’s athletes, such as Cheung Ka-long, Siobhan Haughey, and Vivian Kong, will win Gold, Silver, or Bronze.

The campaign, a collaboration between Pizza Hut and creative agency Edelman Hong Kong, aims to capture the city’s excitement during the Games. “The Games always grip the city, and we didn’t want to miss this opportunity,” said Renee Chan, Director of Customer Experience and Marketing at Pizza Hut Hong Kong. “Our limited-edition Torch Fries and the Frenchie Predictions campaign offer a fun and innovative way to show our support.”

The limited-edition Torch Fries are available from July 26 to August 11.
