The new pizzeria will be located near the NASA Johnson Space Center in Webster and is set to open on August 9. The grand opening will include a photo booth, giveaways, and 25% of the day’s proceeds going to Target Hunger, a local charity. This will be Via 313’s 20th restaurant in the U.S., offering their signature rectangular pizzas, including the Ambassador Bridge with pepperoni, sausage, fresh garlic, and ricotta.
Village Green Development to Feature New Dining Options
Howard Hughes Holdings announced that Village Green, a 70-acre mixed-use development in Bridgeland Central, will host several new restaurants. Jonathan’s the Rub will open a 5,500-square-foot location next fall, offering American classics, wines, beers, and cocktails. It will be joined by Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe, Crust Pizza & Co., and Gelato & Co., which will open in 2025.

Seaside Poke is opening its third location on August 3 in Spring Branch, at the Marq’E Entertainment Center. The grand opening will feature live music, lion dancing, and food from other vendors like Kohiko Coffee House and Yeti Sunshine. Known for its poke bowls and spam musubi, Seaside Poke also has locations in Downtown and East Downtown.
Benny Chows Launches Lunch Service with “Benny” Boxes
Benny Chows, Ben Berg’s American-Cantonese restaurant, is now serving lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The menu includes “Benny” boxes with dishes like crispy orange beef and General Tso’s chicken. Each box includes sides like flower blossom egg drop soup and sticky coconut rice and mango for dessert, priced between $21 and $25.
