Two new venues, Sano Pizza and Vodka Wodka, are preparing to open in Glasgow’s Merchant City soon. Sano Pizza, known for its authentic Neapolitan pizzas made with traditional Italian ingredients, has completed a top-tier refurbishment and is now welcoming customers.
Located on Bell Street, Sano Pizza will also feature a pizza slice van in the central square and offer takeaway from a counter facing the street. The new pizzeria takes over the former Bar Square at the corner of Bell Street and Candleriggs.
Vodka Wodka, which originally opened on Ashton Lane in 2001, is undergoing a complete refurbishment of the former Beer Café on Candleriggs. The popular vodka bar aims to open its new location in early to mid-September.
